In the U.S., Hispanic Heritage Month is observed annually from September 15 to October 15 as a time to celebrate and pay tribute to the histories, cultures and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors come from Spain, Mexico, Caribbean Islands (Puerto Rico or the Dominican Republic), Central America and South America. At CoquitoSeason®, we’re especially proud to honor the heritage of Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic, which have inspired so much our the culture, food, and style we adore.
Why It Matters to Us: We created our brand as a way to honor and share the Puerto Rican & Dominican culture: its flavors, warmth and sense of community. We know that these commemorations are not just about history but about the present-day makers, artists and entrepreneurs in our communities we want to uplift.
What We’re Doing This Month
During Hispanic Heritage Month, we’re dedicating our content, collaborations, and products to highlighting Puerto Rican and Dominican heritage. Here’s what you’ll see from us:
Spotlight on Creators & Traditions: Showcasing some of our favorite local creators, musicians and small businesses in Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic keeping their traditions alive.
Unlimited-Edition Drops: Expect product drops based on designs, symbols and colors of both islands, which are great for showing off your pride.
Educational Content: Sharing posts and blogs about the history, culture and contributions of Puerto Ricans and Dominicans—because learning is where celebrating begins.
Community First
There’s more to CoquitoSeason® than just your merch — it’s about community! That’s why, this month, we’re making connections with organizations and creators who work to elevate Hispanic communities — and sharing their stories with our audiences.
Join the Celebration
Join us all month as we celebrate our favorite recipes, iconic dishes and culinary traditions of the season. You don’t have to be Puerto Rican or Dominican to join in this party, only appreciate the colorful culture.
