Let us tell you about a great event we at Coquito SeasonŸ had the honor of being part of this past Sunday.
On Sunday, January 18th, 2026, WEPA Fest â an All-Day Puerto Rican SanSa Style Festival â took over Zipitios, located at 2676 Florida Ave, West Palm Beach, and it was nothing short of amazing. From the turnout to the energy, the love, and the community support, this event truly embodied what Puerto Rican culture is all about: family helping family.
How WEPA Fest Came Together
Coming off another full year in 2025, we came across an Instagram post from DJ @Dj_sway_pr (Josue â pronounced Ho-Sway), asking if any small businesses representing Puerto Rico would be interested in vending at a brand-new event called âWEPA FEST â An All Day Puerto Rican Day Festival.â
Naturally, we reached out.
Sway immediately connected us with the host, DJ G Rhymes, and from the very first conversation, everything felt aligned. We exchanged information about what we do, and after checking out G Rhymesâ online presence and YouTube bio, we were completely sold. G has that welcoming, family-oriented, favorite-cousin vibe â the kind that resonates deeply with our values.
The feeling was mutual when he saw our website and family bio. The connection was genuine, effortless, and rooted in culture. At that point, it was official â we at Coquito SeasonŸ were proud to be part of what would turn into an epic cultural event.
Puerto Rican Time, Family Style đ
Now letâs keep it honest.
As a family, we definitely arrived on Puerto Rican time â LOL. About 30 minutes before open time, knowing very well we should have been there at least two hours early. But life be living.
Most importantly, we arrived safely, and for that we are grateful.
In true family fashion, DJ G Rhymes and his other half (please forgive us for forgetting her name) immediately stepped in, welcomed us with open arms, and made sure we were comfortable. They helped us find our vendor spot, perfectly placed between two other vendors.
Thatâs when the WEPA Fest vibes really started to shine.
Wind, Community & Real Support đšđ€đœ
We quickly connected with Gabriel, one of the two brothers behind the independent clothing brand Hidden Hours. From the very start of our setup, his energy was solid â calm, supportive, and genuine.
Then⊠the wind showed up.
Not a breeze â a massive, uncalled-for wind that clearly didnât RSVP. đ
Without hesitation, Gabriel offered to help secure our backdrop by attaching it to his tent so it wouldnât fly away. His taller younger brother â super focused and locked in on there brand in the background â jumped right in to help as well.
They didnât know who we were.
No expectations.
Just love and community.
On top of that, huge love to A1 Detail Solutions, who also saw us setting up and immediately offered two large cleaning jugs to help hold down our backdrop. Then, seeing our kids, they offered water and Gatorade without hesitation.
That moment right there set the tone for the entire day.
Family helping family.
Thank you to Hidden Hours and A1 Detail Solutions â your support did not go unnoticed and is deeply appreciated.
The Turnout & The Love
As soon as we started displaying our products, customers were already stopping by and making purchases â and that feeling is indescribable.
Just like we envisioned when we first started Coquito SeasonŸ, people understood our brand without us having to over-explain who we are or what we stand for.
Even with small challenges â wind, internet issues, and the usual vendor-day hiccups â we pushed through, figured it out, and proudly introduced Coquito SeasonŸ to everyone who showed up. To our prima, who jumped in without hesitation to help with setup and sales â truly appreciated that weekend.
A huge thank you to:
-
Our kids, who held it down like absolute troopers for the full six hours
Mami and Papi love you all for believing and riding with us.
New Customers, New Family đ€
We also want to thank every single new customer who supported us, purchased from us, and even taste-tested our healthy version of Coquito â the same great taste we all love.
We wish we could list you all by name, but you know who you are.
Thank you for believing in the vision. Please continue to spread the word and help us grow this movement â for our culture, our traditions, and our community.
Letâs keep it going.

Love to Zipitios đđź
Major thanks to Zipitios for the hospitality, love, and incredible food â especially the smash burgers and chicken quesadillas. đ„
Zipitios was the main restaurant hosting WEPA Fest alongside DJ G Rhymes, opening their space to make this beautiful event possible. Weâve officially added them to our Coquitoville list on our site as one of our favorite spots in West Palm Beach.
Donât sleep â go check them out.
Until the Next One
In closing, we at Coquito SeasonŸ, along with our kids, want to say thank you for having us and welcoming us with open arms.
Until the next cultural event near you, we say:
Gracias y bendiciones.
